It has been almost 4 years since we moved into our house, and I still had not finished fully decorating our master bedroom.   Isn’t it funny how the master bedroom is always the last to get done?   Our walls were looking really bare, and I decided it was time to warm it up with some wall hangings or framed family photos.   We are really on a budget these days, so I looked at Home Goods and Target to see if there were some art pieces that would work in our room, and I couldn’t find anything I liked.    Then I stumbled upon ZaZaGallery on Twitter, and couldn’t believe for $25 (less than a random TJ Maxx find), I could turn our family pics into wall art!

Starting at only $25 for an 8 x 10, you can upload a photo, and have it made into a canvas piece.  I was SUPER impressed with the quality, and it is so cool to see your photos actually look like pieces of art hanging on your wall.   I am planning on doing some of these in my baby’s nursery when she arrives, I think it will be such a cool, personal way to decorate.  I was thinking it would be fun to put an ultrasound photo on canvas and give to a new mom-to-be for a shower gift!

I was at my girlfriend’s house today and she had these awesome storage bins in their playroom that looked really cute. She is a mother of 3…and said these have been the answer to her organizational toy challenge!  The bottom ones are wide enough for big boy toys like firetrucks, and they store a ton of stuff because they are so deep.  They are made by Land of Nod and come in single bins too.
