This Saturday, June 4th, Studio Seaside in Corona del Mar will be holding their 3rd annual resale fundraiser event featuring amazing deals on gently used kids’ clothing, toys, gadgets and more!

The proceeds from this event will be donated to the Maddie James Foundation.

In case you missed the recent news, just this past month, the James family hit their fundraising goal of $1 million dollars to build the Maddie James Seaside Learning Center at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point!! From their website, it looks like they will have more details to share on this project soon.  It is so heartwarming to see their foundation grow and thrive in Maddie’s honor.

There is a cool fundraiser going on in June to benefit  Help Me Grow at metro FOR MEN just in time for Father’s Day!

The special boys in your life can help support a great cause and enjoy a day of grooming at Metro FOR MEN, OC’s premier men’s only salon.   The salon is offering a father son duo haircut for only $50 if you mention “Help Me Grow.”

They will also be able to participate in a Father’s Day raffle for gift certificates, hair and skin products, sports tickets and more!!

The proceeds from this event benefit Help Me Grow Orange County, which connects children and their families to services to enhance the behavior, learning & development of children birth to 6 years of age.

In celebration of Josie Brown‘s latest novel, The Baby Planner, baby planners all over the country are throwing the ultimate parents parties and one is coming to Orange County this Sunday, May 22nd, 2011 at Granola Babies in Costa Mesa!

Mark your calendars as the Urban Kids Consignment sale is going on next weekend, May 20th – 22nd, 2011 in Huntington Beach and there are sure to be some super deals you won’t want to miss out on!

And, there is still time to sign up to be a consignor if you have stuff you want to sell, but the deadline is tomorrow, Friday at midnight, so sign up ASAP if you want in on the action!  Consignors can receive up to 75% of the sale price, shop before the public on Thursday, track sales online and receive a check 7 – 10 days after the event.

I have gone to one of their past sales and scored some amazing buys.  Definitely worth checking out if you are in need of some baby or kid items but don’t want to pay full price!

The OC Pregnancy & Beyond Event is a day of education and community featuring the top pregnancy and baby experts in the Orange County natural living community.

The day will begin with an inspirational talk by Sylvia of Connecting Within and then Laura Jane, Certified Yoga Instructor will lead with “Yoga for the New Mom.”

On each hour there are workshops that you can register for (and it’s free to attend!), including – Newborn Health Panel, Breastfeeding Clinic, Birthing and Postpartum Panel, Pregnancy Fashion and more.

And as a bonus treat for mamas and mamas-to-be Evolue, a high-end eco-beauty boutique in Beverly Hills will be offering complimentary mini make-up sessions throughout the day. And the festivities will continue with an After-Party for attendees with food and drinks.
