We just got this new baby monitor and it ROCKS!   Our old Summer video one was SUPER static-y, and after two years, one night it just stopped working.  It was the best thing to happen to us, because I didn’t realize how bad it was until I got this new Safety 1st High Def Monitor!  For the first time in a long time, Iam the one sleeping like a baby!    I used to get woken up periodically throughout the night, not by my daughter, but by the static and constant noise on our monitor.   I went online and found some consumer reviews that said this one was a great choice one for its value and clarity.  It uses new DECT 6.0 technology, which means zero interference, static, noise and won’t pick up your neighbor’s phone calls!   It is literally clear as a bell and has a range of 1000 feet.    If you are sick and tired of your static-y monitor, I can’t more highly recommend this one.  And, at roughly $59.99 it is a total deal!   We got ours at Babies R Us(in store, but they also sell online.)  Just Google “Safety 1st High Def Monitor” for lots of different sites that sell it.  I saw it from anywhere between $49.99 – $74.99.   

My darling babysitter just got this book for Emma for Christmas and we are already in love with it!  I loved it so much I had to do a post right away because it would make for a great holiday present!   She got ours at Nordstroms, I went online and couldn’t find it, but it is for sure at the Nordstroms at South Coast.  I found it online at Chronicle Books.  

It is the cutest bedtime story following Paul Frank’s Julius the Monkey and his adventures only in his dreams.  From swimming down a river of strawberry milk next to a cupcake village, to performing a rock concert in space, this book with delight boys and girls alike.  

If you are still looking for a few gifts for kids – definitely pick up this book.   And, as a parent, don’t you love it when your kids receive books?  They to me, are truly the most valuable, treasured gifts of all!
