Wordless Wednesday

We recently picked up a bag of McCain Smiles at our newly opened Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market in Costa Mesa {love that store!}

It was the first time I had ever seen these little potato smiles.  Have you?

When I put them on the cooking sheet and laid them all out in a row, you know what? They made me smile. Sometimes that’s hard to do during the 5pm dinner hour.

So thank you McCain Smiles.  The kids loved your little smiles too!

…ARE EVERYWHERE….UGH!  Car, diaper bag, stroller, purse…the ohs have invaded my life!

I was unloading the girls the other day and really took a moment to look down at the floor of the car and I was quite appalled because, yes, I had noticed there were quite a few Cheerios on the floor, but until I took this photo I truly didn’t realize JUST HOW MANY.

Anyone want to come over to my car for a snack??

Now that Morgan is 18 months, her and Emma have become little buddies. Watching them become friends and play together has been one of the best things to experience as a parent.   One of her favorite things to do is to toddle over to Emma with a book saying, “book, book, book” (or as best she say can “book”, which sort of sounds like “boo-h”)and will plop down in Emma’s lap so she can “read” it to her.

This was one of those moments.  Not posed, not set-up, just looked over and Emma was reading to her so I snapped this picture with my iPhone.

And I thought my heart just might explode with love.

Santa brought my 1 1/2 year old daughter this Baby Stella doll for Christmas.

In the midst of all the craziness on Christmas morning, I looked over, and there she was by herself on our bottom step feeding Baby Stella quietly.

It was such a cute, peaceful moment.
