Are you pregnant?  Or know someone that is?

If yes, you have to know about this Knocked-Up Fitness Workshop for mamas-to-be hosted by Erica Ziel of Knocked-Up Fitness coming up on Sunday, October 7th, 2012 from 9am – 1pm at Body Design in Newport Beach.

The event will include straight up girl talk, an awesome swag bag filled with lots of goodies, food and fun! This event would be super valuable for any first time moms, but really, even if you are on your third, there is always something new you can learn about pregnancy and delivery!

To ensure an intimate atmosphere where moms feel comfortable talking about anything they want to know (no topic is off limits!) the workshop will be limited to a maximum of 10 women, so register ASAP HERE if interested!

Erica is a local OC mom of three and an expert personal trainer specializing in fitness-infused Pilates with vast experience in pre and post-natal fitness as well as nutrition.

The idea for the workshop actually came about from her prenatal clients.

At her prenatal Pilates sessions, Erica would find herself sharing information on many girlfriend-to-girlfriend pregnancy topics with candor.  These mamas-to-be begged her to think about hosting a workshop where women could feel comfortable sharing about pregnancy with the goal of walking out feeling more confident and ready to take on motherhood.

The cost is $295, but if you register by Sunday, 9/23 you can get a special price of $250 which includes a snack, lunch and a goodie bag filled with these items (and more):

~ Knocked-Up Fitness Prenatal DVD Combo Set
~ Knocked-Up Fitness Postnatal DVD Combo Set (Coming Soon)
~ Aiden and Anais Swaddle Blanket (MY FAVORITE!)

I started training with Erica when I was nine weeks pregnant, and though my body has changed during my pregnancy (I’m not 36 weeks), my arms and legs look better now than they did before I was pregnant. Her approach is holistic in that she doesn’t just train your body, she helps you understand the mental and often emotional changes that you are going through. I’ve learned more during my training sessions with her about pregnancy, motherhood and balancing it all after the baby is born, than I have from any of the books I’ve read. Not to mention I’ve met so many other wonderful moms-to-be in her class, that their support has comforted me through this entire process.

Kudos to Erica! I can’t wait to attend!

I LOVE Erica and I LOVE Knocked Up Fitness!!! I first found her and started pilates when I was pregnant with Kooper (who is now 9 months:) and I attribute my core strength and good delivery to some of the techniques she taught me. This pregnancy (now 5 months along) I feel better, leaner, stronger then the one before. I only get to se her twice weekly or three times IF I am rarely lucky and oh what a difference. People seem to notice too. I love sharing her with anyone I care about and I wouldn’t miss THIS special event posted because it is going to be AWESOME! See ya there! xo
