I just returned from a magical getaway last weekend to Carmel-by-the-Sea. Everything about the town captivated me. Just like this door, which we spotted on a walk down to the ocean one misty morning. I don’t know why I loved this door so much, but I do. Maybe it’s because I feel as if a door was opened with the discovery of a place I will never forget.
