I am passionate about this topic.

We procrastinated until our daughter was 3 years old (gulp) to do an estate plan and legally put the correct documents in place to name the people we would choose to be her guardians if something should happen to us. After I learned how scary it is if you do not have your affairs in order, I became passionate about spreading the word!!

Studio Cee on Newborn Photography Sessions: Expert Advice!

Hello moms! How was the weekend? I hope you are surviving the summer off with your kids! When I was writing this, I found myself so enthralled by the Studio Cee Photography & Design site and spent so much time admiring her work, I almost forgot I had a blog post to get back to! Her work is amazing. ARTFUL. Delicate. Crisp. Just click and look. Seriously.

So the graphic designer turned Orange County children and newborn photographer extraordinare, Clarice, and I were talking about her main blog post and what we wanted to share about her company. She had sent me this beautiful graphic above and when I saw that precious newborn, I thought, maybe we need to write something on WHY it is just SO meaningful to professionally photograph your itsy-bitsy newborn?

Free Rockettes Event Tomorrow at Macy’s

Happy Friday Mamas! We made it through the week! I for one am very happy and am doing a little TGIF dance over here!  Speaking of dancing, there is a very cool free event tomorrow at Macy’s at the Shops in Mission Viejo involving the world famous Rockettes® I wanted to share.  If you have any little dancers in your house, this would sure be a hit! LOVE the Lululemon Tracker Short

On February 6th I became a runner. Which sounds funny because rarely does a person become a runner in one day, but I specifically remember that was the first day I made it through 2 miles. It was BIG for me as I had never ran before in my entire life and I did it! One of my runner friends had told me, “if you can do 2, you can do 3. If you can do 3, you can do 4.” She was right, and after adding mile after mile, I ended up at 13.1 on May 2nd in the OC Half Marathon. Seriously one of the greatest experiences & accomplishments of my life….
