ACU-LIFE True Easy Syringe Review

As a mom, I have a few pet peeves, one of which are the dosing syringes included in children’s medications and the AIR BUBBLES that leave me to wonder how much medicine is actually in there.

I have tried shaking the syringe to bring the bubble to the top, but what ends up happening is a portion of the medicine gets caught above the bubble, the rest below. Ugh! Usually I end up dosing in two phases, just to make sure I get the right amount without the bubbles. It seriously drives me crazy!

Recently I was contacted by representative of ACU-LIFE True Easy Syringe asking if I would be interested in trying out their product for review. It’s the world’s first color-coded, accurate dose syringe that delivers a stress-free, bubble-free dosage every time. I told them, why, yes, I would be interested.

I was a little skeptical, because I have yet to meet a syringe that can fend off the bubbles, but mamas, let me tell you, this one WORKS. It really works.

I like you can turn the dial at the top to the correct dosage (which is based on color) and then when you pull up the stopper, the medicine goes right to the line it should, with zero air pockets. It’s accurate and easy ~  a good product that I am happy to share with you.

Plus it is BPA free.

It’s available in some drugstores and grocery stores nationwide, but not yet in Orange County, so for now you can purchase online. Retail price is $4.99.

  1. Great idea. The trick with the syringe is to pull the plunger down (with the medicine already in the syringe) and flick it with your finger until all the air bubbles go to the top. Then slowly push up until the medication is at the top! #nursetricks 😉 I like this idea of the syringe though. Not everyone knows that 1 tsp is 5cc, etc.

  2. Actually, they do carry this item at Walgreens. Store brand made by this same company. True Easy Syringe – $4.99. Carried in the Aliso Viejo store on Aliso Creek Road. Found it there this morning!
