Bubblicious!

A friend and I took our daughters to Bubblefest XIII yesterday at Discovery Science Center and we all had a ball!

I hadn’t seen the Bubblefest show before, and let me tell you, it is definitely worth a visit! My daughter’s eyes were like saucers the entire time, completely mesmerized by the bubbles, lights and music.   Even I was in awe!  It is really a visually stunning show for kids and adults alike.   You will find yourself saying throughout “how does he DO that?!”   The show moves along at a great pace, keeping little ones entertained throughout.  The highlight was the *shower* of bubbles at the end.   There must of been thousands and thousands of bubbles coming from the stage and ceiling.   You should have seen the kids, they all went absolutely nuts!  Nothing like watching kids trying to catch and pop bubbles.  Pure joy!

Bubblefest XIII runs through the weekend, last day on April 19th.  Click here for showtimes.

When you go, make sure to check out the new Science of Hockey exhibit on the 2nd floor. Super state-of-the art, hands on exhibits that will wow your kids!

  1. i took my son a couple years ago. after the show we got to take a photo while a giant bubble was folded over us. the picture was snapped perfectly when the bubble captured us. it was awesome! I highly suggest if they still offer it.

  2. They do still offer it! We didn’t do it, but I wish we had! It is to the left after you enter…great tip!
