Care.com, the website that matches caregivers (sitters, nannies, pet sitters, etc.) with families looking for help is waiving their membership fee this Friday through Sunday (3/19-3/21) and giving you FREE access to contact caregivers, run free background checks and check references. All for FREE!
The site is fabulous. Click over and look around. It has reviews from families, background checks, bios, pictures, rates, pretty much all the information you would look for when searching for a new sitter or nanny.
My part-time college sitter I have had for the past 3 1/2 years is graduating in May (sniff*sniff) and got hired for her first real job so I will be losing her. She has been like part of our family.
When I got this notice about the FREE weekend, I was thinking this is the perfect time to post a job. I know with summer coming people might be looking for extra help too! No preschool?! What am I going to do?!
Here is what you can do today to get ready for the full access weekend:
1. Log in to Care.com and post a job. It’s free and gets the ball rolling for caregivers to contact you.
2. Then, from Friday – Sunday, you can log in and connect directly with those that are interested.

I found my AMAZING nanny on this site!! I posted a job and had 55 responses in just 2 days. It’s great too, because you can email and communicate through the site so you don’t have to give out any personal information. They also have a “Care on Call” feature for sitters that are available last minute! Great site and such a good deal for the free weekend!!
