Happy New Year!

Happy-New-Year-2009

Well here we are, my last post of 2009, I can’t believe how fast this past year went.  It certainly was an eventful one!

Last year I posted some of my2009 New Year’s resolutions, my first time to actually make resolutions in a long time.    Here they are again…let’s see how I did…

1. Make the transition to becoming a mother of two while keeping my sanity and sense of humor

{This one is debatable.   I for sure lost my sanity for the first 4 months, without question.  I was a lunatic.  But now I have it back, so I will have to say this one is a push.   I have definitely tried to keep my sense of humor, so I will have to overall say, this one was accomplished!}

2. Be more forgiving of myself

{Eh, not so much, will try again this year.}

3. Be more present in the little moments with my daughter (and new baby) throughout the day

{I have definitely tried to work on this one, so I will have to say yes, I felt like I have been a little more present in the day to day (sometimes)}

4. Devote a little time each day to work on doing my daughter’s digital photo albums so by the time # 2 arrives, I will be caught up and not feel so guilty about how far behind I am!!!

{Well, I am happy with SOME progress I made on this one.  I did finish Emma’s first year digital photo album and Baby Book, and I have actually started on Morgan’s first year so I can work on it month by month and not get so far behind.  So,  this one will be a work in progress.}

Okay, so here comes 2010. I have high hopes for this year, here are some things I want to do or accomplish:

1. Find a workout regimen I love and stick to it (so original, huh?!)  I want to look into Stroller Strides and really get back into Pilates.  There is a big fun Stroller Strides event coming up next month, more details to come next week!

2. Continue my digital photo album projects

3. Take a little staycation this summer with our family

4. Do a charity project with the help of  Tiny Oranges readers.  I have been thinking about this one for a long time, and this WILL be the year to do it!

Happy New Year everyone!  I wish you a fun and safe celebration with your loved ones! Let’s all raise our glasses of champagne or cider tonight and toast each other to a wonderful year to come! Cheers!
