Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch Giveaway

The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is one of my favorite family outings in Orange County this season! Pumpkins galore and the cutest fall photo ops! And this is one of my favorite giveaways because I love giving a local OC family the chance to win some free train and activity tickets, make sure to read the details below on how to enter.

Open daily now through October 31st, the Pumpkin Patch (filled with thousands of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes) is located in Locomotive Loop just behind the train station inside Irvine Regional Park in the foothills of Orange.

All visitors are sure to find the perfect pumpkin!

This year’s Pumpkin Patch activities include:  Train rides, hay rides, panning for gold, a child-friendly haunted house, a hay maze, a moon bounce, carnival games, John Deere tractor racers, face painting (weekends only), picture stands and great food.

Admission into the Pumpkin Patch is free. Prices for all other activities vary; please visit www.IrvineParkRailroad.com for additional information and costs.

The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is open daily from

September 17th through October 31st

Weekdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Weekends 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

The parking fee for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends.

You are also invited to check out  Irvine Regional Park’s other activities including Wheel Fun Rentals® at Irvine Park — fun and unique bike rentals that can be enjoyed by single riders or an entire family — paddle boat rentals, the Orange County Zoo and pony rides. Bike and paddle boat rentals are open daily through October 31st.

  1. With 3 boys, Star Wars is very popular in our household, the entire family was star wars characters, including me as princess leia and my 18 month old as Yoda>

  4. Just fanned them on fb (since i’m already a SUPER tiny oranges fan =) already) Love their pumkin patch…its the best one in the area…great memories so far with the little ones…Not sure what the plan is for this year but last year we had Thomas the trainer conductor and a fireman =)

  5. Hey! My boys are thinking about being Plants vs. Zombies for Halloween! They love the game, so my 10 year old wants to be a zombie and my 7 year old wants to be a plant. BUT, they change their minds often… so we’ll see if this holds true! LOVE Halloween!

  6. My son hasn’t decide on what he would like his costume to be this year but last year he dressed up as Indiana Jones.

  7. With 3 kids, I like picking a theme. Last year my 10 year old daughter was Dorothy, my 5 year old son was the tin man and our baby (4 month at that time) was the lion 🙂 Working on this years costumes.

  8. My little girl is going to be a mermaid this year. And my little boy wants to be Prime from Transformer. Since Costco ran out of his costume, I’ll have to search somewhere else now. They are both so excited for Halloween and ask me daily about it!

  9. Last year our family went as the Flintstones. My 2 year old daughter was Pebbles my almost 1 year old some was Bam Bam i was Wilma and my Husband was Fred. And My kids god parent came as Barney and Betty. It was so much fun. We made all of our costumes.

  10. Our 5 year old girl who has very long hair will be Rapunzel from Tangled and our newborn baby girl will be a bumble bee or teddy bear:)

  11. my son wants to be a zombie and my daughter a witch. guess we’re going traditional haloween spooks this year!

  12. we’re still deciding on costumes for this year… last year we had a police officer, a mailman, and a pumpkin.

  13. So far we have one kid decided. Our 3 year old is going to be Snow White. Not sure what the 3 teenagers are going to be yet.

  14. Our three year old is going to be a race car driver and our one year old is going to be a dinosaur! So fun!!

  15. My girls will each pick a princess to dress up as, it’s their favorite thing. I think my husband and I are going to be Woody and Jesse from Toy Story

  16. Last year my daughter was Pippie Longstocking. The cutest costume ever! Just thrown together, too! With pipecleaners in her hair.

  17. My kids are going to be hiccup and astrid from “How to train your dragon” hopefully they put them on for backup they can be Diney Juniors Choo-Choo Soul:)

  18. Don’t know about this year, but last year my 3 yr old was thing 1. I was pregnant with my second, so I wore a matching shirt with “thing 2” over my belly.

    My favorite was the year before, though, when we dressed my son (then 2) up as an old man. Glasses, white hair, moustache & pipe included 🙂

  19. So fun! I love the Irvine Regional Park. My son just turned a year old, last year he was a dragon, we are still deciding about this year. Too fun!!
