Since the back-to-school days are upon us I thought I would share this little sweet gesture that my mom used to do for me when I was in elementary school.
Every day she would write a little note on my lunchbox napkin. Sometimes it was a little puzzle to solve like the drawing of the eye, then heart and U, or sometimes just I heart U. The message was always the same, she loved me, and it brought a little piece of home into the school day.
So this blog’s dedicated to you mom! Thank you for all the things you did for me growing up – big and small – to let me know just how much you loved me.
A little lunchbox love note goes a long way.
