Mark your calendars and join Erica from Core Athletica and her team on Saturday, March 26th, 2011 at Corona del Mar Main Beach for an awesome beach bootcamp benefiting Team Tiny Oranges and 100% donated to the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation!

The workout kicks off at 8am and will last about an hour. Parking in the main lot per the website is $15 per car. Metered street parking can also be found at the top of the hill and you can walk down.

Crock Pot Tortilla Chicken Soup Recipe

A funny thing has happened since I started the “I Hate to Cook” series. I am not hating to cook as much! Dare I say I am even having a little FUN with it? Am I going to have to change the title!?

So Darlynn Morgan of Morgan Law Group sent me over this recipe and it was SO easy it was ridiculous!

Basically it involves opening cans and putting things in crock pot. When I read it I said, THIS I can do! My kind of recipe. I love the slow cooker or things I can make ahead of time while baby is napping. Makes dinner time so much easier. Here goes! You guys will LOVE this recipe…

i-FFICIENCY

Last year I joined a great networking group called Smarty OC which has monthly events with guest speakers.

One of such speakers was Chris Van Dusen of i-FFICIENCY. He did a presentation last summer on what you need to know to start working “smarter” and apps that can streamline your day to day business needs, make communication easier and other “tech” secrets.

I was so bummed I had to miss this event but fellow Smarty members raved about what they learned so I connected with Chris on Twitter recently (he can be found @ifficiency) as I had some questions to ask him about making my potential first Mac purchase. He recommended we meet for coffee to talk about my business and go from there.

I was approaching the hardest part of my first half marathon last year around mile 11 when I saw those words. It was at a point when I was really struggling.
