So I have been running a lot lately. 17 (GULP) days to go until my first 1/2 marathon. I do most my training in the Back Bay in Newport Beach. When I was running yesterday the view almost took my breath away. Or maybe it was the running. But anyhow, I had to stop and snap this pic on my iPhone. It’s so gorgeous right now. Spring is in full bloom, wildflowers everywhere, and I love you can see Fashion Island in the background. I love OC. I really do.

Ahhh yes, the back bay, what a great place to run! LOL, but it makes my allergies crazy!
Ahhhh, so pretty. We lived over there when we first moved to CA and my oldest was about 7 months old. I LOVED walking with her along the Back Bay. We live in Irvine now and our trail is the Mountain to Sea Trail- which runs along a drainage canal- blech! I wish that I had a more scenic place to walk/run near my house!
