About this exact time one year ago, I was about to lose my mind. I was going on three years of blogging and with the growth it had become too much for one person ~ especially with two little ones under 5 at home. I was really stressed and it was no good. I knew I needed help, but I didn’t know how I was going to be able to find someone to help me. And even if I did, would I be able to find someone that would be a good fit?

Call it Divine Intervention, serendipity, or plain old good luck, but I found her and Susanne was not only a good fit, but has been the perfect fit, and she has really changed my life.

That is gorgeous Susanne in the photo above, and her darling family.

It is Susanne’s birthday today (Happy Birthday Susanne!) so I got to thinking about her birthday, and how extraordinary she is, and how I want you to know her better which is why I wanted to write this post…

Frogg’s Bounce House Birthday Parties

Last month I did a Fancy Nancy party for my oldest daughter’s 6th birthday at our house and I am still recovering. So. Much. Work. Therefore, when planning little sister’s birthday party a mere 3 weeks after, the only thing I knew I wanted was a party NOT at home!

One of Morgan’s favorite places to go in OC is Frogg’s Bounce House in Fountain Valley, so I thought it would be the perfect place to celebrate my soon-to-be 3 year old. If you are looking for a great OC birthday party venue for kids, Frogg’s Bounce House was a HOPPIN’ good time!

Montage Beverly Hills: An Unparalleled Urban Retreat

It’s no secret that I love Orange County. I love it so much that I rarely leave my little Orange Bubble by the beach.

However, last month I had the opportunity to visit the elegant Montage Beverly Hills and it was a great reminder of how exciting it is to venture out of the Bubble every now again to experience a destination so close to home, but one that feels like an entirely different, glamorous world.

I am a big fan of healthy food options for group gatherings so that you can balance out the other goodies and junk! That’s why I thought this was such a great idea.

UNREAL: Candy Unjunked

What if I told you a candy company existed that took the “junk” out of junk food? UNREAL is a new generation food company with an outrageous mission: to “unjunk” the world. And they started with the worst offender ~ candy.

Many candies we are familiar with are filled with corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial ingredients, preservatives, and GMOs. Ingredients that are in there to make the candy cheaper to manufacture, not taste better. But were our bodies meant to ingest these ingredients? I have to think absolutely not!

UNREAL has developed a line of candies that has taken out all that junk and replaced it with double the cacao, more peanuts, real milk, cane sugar and organic palm fruit oil. They also have substantially less sugar, more fiber, protein and less calories. Not that is unreal.

And I happen to LOVE this part ~ instead of targeting natural food retailers, they are competing head to head (at the same price) at stores like CVS, Walgreens, Target, Rite Aid, Kroger, with new major retailers being added every day.
