Holiday Mini Sessions from K Sue Photography {Giveaway}
Where, oh where, does the time go? I can’t believe it is already mid-September, which means friends, the holidays will be here before we know it!
I start to think about scheduling our family photo session for our Christmas card about now because our weekends get so busy in the fall. I really don’t like scrambling to get my holiday cards out. I would so much rather take our picture early and order my cards early so that by the first week in December, my cards are OUT and I can move on to the gazillion other things to do in December!
So now is a perfect time to officially introduce you to one of my new sponsors, K Sue Photography! And, Krista (the “K” in K Sue”) has a holiday mini session special going on for my readers {that’s you!} if you book your session between now and November 30th. You might not believe this deal. Keep reading.
We’re bringing Date Night back!
I really like my husband. I wrote about him here. He’s my favorite person to be around. But with both of us in constant “parent mode” and giving our kids 110% all of the time, it has left VERY little time for just the two of us. I am sure we are not the only parents struggling with this one!
Sure, we have our favorite Friday night which consists of getting the kids to bed, having a drink, and settling in to catch up on our mutually-loved DVR’d shows, but that doesn’t really count.
Recently we were talking about the last time we went out just the two of us. It had been 2 1/2 months. The time before that?
Free Parenting Classes at Pretend City
Being a parent has been the hardest thing I have ever done. There are many times throughout each and every day where I question myself on how I handled a situation. Many times I really don’t know what to do. If I am being honest, being a mother has brought out a lot of insecurity in me for this very reason.
So, when I heard about a free parenting class offered at Pretend City this month called “Toddler Talk” I said SIGN ME UP! I can use all the help I can get!
