Bubblefest 2014 is back at Discovery Science Center this month with shows running through April 20th, 2014 and believe me when I say, it truly is, a must-see event for kids. Every year around Spring Break time Bubblefest returns to The Cube for a day of hands-on family fun.
The Mega Bubblefest Laser Show is a separate ticket event featuring Bubble Scientist Deni Yang as he works his magic and does things with bubbles you would not think were possible unless you saw them with your own eyes!
There are bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles! Spinning bubbles, kids in bubbles, bouncing bubbles, bubbles within bubbles, even smoking bubbles!
I had the opportunity to experience the show this week with my four and seven year old. Both of which were in awe during the entire experience. As if the show weren’t spectacular enough on it’s own (it is), Discovery Science Center has an entire Bubblefest XVIII exhibit outside the main attraction tent, which is included with general admission.
There were multiple bounce houses, bubble exhibits for the kids to make their own giant bubbles, learning centers about the science behind bubbles, even a Bubble Sphere Activity where the kids could be IN a bubble on water. Haven’t seen smiles that big on my girls in awhile!
We spent a few hours in this area alone.

Adult Admission w/Laser Bubble show: $22.95pp
Child Admission (ages 3 – 14) w/ Laser Bubble Show: $19.95
Senior Admission (ages 62+) w/ Laser Bubble Show: $19.95
The Mega Bubblefest Laser Show Times run day at 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm.
