Oh, aren’t giveaways just so much fun?!  The “Giveaway a Day” week continues with a giveaway of free tickets to this fun event! Read below and enter!

Tis the season once again for Irvine Park Railroad’s annual Christmas Train!   Come with family and friends and take this enchanting night ride through historic Irvine Regional Park to meet Santa Claus. The train will depart  from the brightly-lit Train Station and drop passengers off at Santa’s Village.

Christmas Train tickets may be purchased to board the train between 5:00 – 6:00, 6:00 – 7:00 or 7:00 – 8:00 PM — then just get in line when it is your time to board the train.   This year tickets may be purchased online.  Click HERE to get yours!

While waiting to board the train, there are many activities for children to enjoy in Santa’s Village located next to the train station:  Story Time with Mrs. Claus, Christmas Cookie Decorating, Carnival Games, Santa Claus Moon Bounce, Christmas Coloring Corner and Picture Stands *.

At the North Pole, visitors may purchase coffee, hot chocolate, freshly-popped popcorn and cookies from the Elf House Snack Bar.  A full kitchen menu is also available at the Train Station. Visitors may take their own pictures with Santa or you may purchase a picture taken by Irvine Park Railroad.

After visiting with Santa, hop back aboard the train and enjoy the colorful Christmas lights and decorations, as well as the magical “Tunnel of Lights”, on the ride back to the station house.

When visiting the Christmas Train, remember to dress warmly, bring a camera and arrive early to avoid crowds.  This is a very popular event, so it is a good idea to consider buying tickets early (online)  as some dates and times will definitely sell out.

The cost to ride the Christmas Train is $8.00 per person. Children younger than 24 months ride free.The parking for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends. Parking for the Christmas Train is free after 5:00 PM.

December 4th, 5th and 6th  – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
December 11th through 18th – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
December 19th and 20th – 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
December 21st, 22nd, and 23rd – 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

  3. Such a magical time for the lil ones, and sharing the train ride and all the lights, and seeing Santa too? Wow! What a great memory!! We would LOVE to take a ride with Kaden, Daddy, Mommy, Oma, Opa, Auntie Cindy and Uncle Bryan, and Auntie Corrie!!
