Precious Hand/Footprints Upcoming Event & Giveaway

Precious Hand/Footprints, a ceramic impression company that makes priceless handprints and footprints of your little ones here in Orange County, is giving away $100 to be used towards a special keepsake this week! Please read below on how you can enter to win. She is also doing a special all day event in OC on October 9th, 2010. More details below. Keep reading…

I have gotten handprint Christmas ornaments made of my girls each year since they were both born (and gotten them for the grandparents too!) and every year when I am decorating my tree, they always make me tear up a little because they are so special to me. Great gift idea for the holidays!

We went in to see Elsie, the owner of Precious Hand/Footprints last November, and she did an amazing plate of both my girls handprints together. Emma was 3 1/2 and Morgan was only 4 months old. Here are some pictures of the day they were done. Morgan was SO little {and I was SO brunette!}

And my beautiful keepsake that hangs in Morgan’s room….

I absolutely treasure it.

I had the girls photographed for Paul Gero’s Kids of Orange County book 2009 that same month (last November) around the same time we did the handprints.

So I have their picture {photo taken by Paul F. Gero} hanging next to the handprints because it was the exact age they were when we took the photos.

I got this idea when I was in to see Elsie. She had handprints of her kids from when they were little, and then next to the impressions she had a photo of them at the same time. Loved this idea!

Elsie’s prices are so reasonable for her beautiful work, and when you visit her studio, she will work with you to help you choose a perfect design.

She will even customize one if you want to add together elements from different ones on display.

And, on top of it all, she is just a delightful person to work with.

But, if you want to get impressions made of your kiddos for this holiday, the impressions must be done before October 30th so now is the time to start thinking about making your appointment.

Special Impression Event coming up!

Elsie is having a special pre-season event next month on October 9th, 2010 at OC Tykes in San Clemente from 8am – 4:30pm. Perfect time to get your little ones in to see her with plenty of time before the holidays.
