CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates and this special non-profit trains volunteers to be mentors and advocates for OC’s most severely abused and neglected children placed in foster care. This amazing organization is holding a special event to raise money on Sunday, 10/25.   My family went last year and we had so much fun!   It is a wonderful family event!

Here are the details:

Pumpkins and Pancakes A Children’s Halloween Extravaganza!

Don’t miss this great family event featuring a gourmet pancake breakfast provided by Plums Cafe, face painting, kids’ games, balloon artists, a live animal show and a silent auction…all to benefit CASA’s powerful work with kids!

Bring your kids in costume for the costume parade and get ready for special appearances by Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Tweety Bird and other favorites!

  1. Thank you for sharing about this event. I have a very sweet friend that volunteers with CASA as a child advocate. It’s a great cause and this event also sounds like a lot of fun 🙂
P.S. I have to email you about something 🙂 I will send something your way later on.

  3. Jen,
Thanks for sharing this event. I volunteered as a CASA in OC and then worked for San Diego’s CASA chapter for almost 4 years. It is an amazing and much needed organization! Thanks to everyone who attends and supports such a great cause.
