Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony at Pretend City

Join Pretend City Children’s Museum this Friday, July 27th, 2012 from 10am – 3pm for their Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony and lots of fun Olympic-themed activities to celebrate the opening of the 2012 Summer Games!

What a fun way to help teach your little ones gain a better understanding of the significance of the Summer Olympics.

Highlights include:

~ Creation of Olympic Medals and Fabulous Flags in the Art Studio

~ Show your pride and display your flag in the Pretend City Olympic Opening Ceremony at 12:30pm

~ Learn the route that the actual 2012 Summer Olympic torch has traveled on its way to London during Olympics Trivia around the World.

~ Celebrate world unity through dance in Orange Plaza.

~ Participate in a version of the Olympic games held in the Pretend City Olympic Stadium.

And, experience the Grand Opening of their new Daphne’s California Greek Pretend Cafe Exhibit serving up pretend, delicious Mediterranean-inspired California cuisine.

Daphne’s will be onsite at this event giving away free food samples.
