The Fabulous Foogo!

We have been through many a sippy cup these past 3 years, and I think I have finally found my favorite!  The Foogo sippy from Thermos is a 12-oz bottle with a straw that is totally leak-proof.  Albeit, not necessarily husband-proof, so from experience, you do have to make sure the top is screwed on properly!

Because it is made of stainless steel, the liquid stays cold for the entire day.  I even tested it myself, we put in apple juice out of the fridge in the AM, and by afternoon, it was still cold.  She likes that she can open and shut it herself.  I like that I can throw it in a picnic basket or my purse, and it never leaks.

I thought twice before shelling out $14.99 for this, but with the amount we have used it, definitely worth the cost!  We bought it in the Babies R Us store, but you can find online at Target and the Thermos website as well!

  1. What a fabulous product! This reminds me of the time that my husband and I purchased our first brand new car. We happily strapped our kids in their booster seats and started to drive out of the dealership. You guessed it…my daughter spilled her sippy cup of apple juice before we exited the parking lot! These cups would have saved the day…and our new upholstery.

  2. I have not found one sippy cup that does not leak in some way or spill. I have never seen these cups before but you bet I’m looking forward to buying one for my son. By the way thanks again for the Crocs outlet tip. I stopped by Friday night and found cute mary janes for my daughter for 5 bucks!! Amazing. I think I bought around 14 pairs for both kids because they were so cheap!!

  3. Daytrippingmom – seriously, is that Crocs outlet not the BEST? I bought pairs the next size up for my daughter just to take advantage of the price.

Now that I know it exists, I can’t BELIEVE how much I spent on them at the mall!!!!!!

Pick up a Foogo – we love it! Worth the $15!

  4. Paula – love the comment on the car. We just got a new car too, and for a month, I parked way out in parking lots away from all cars afraid I was going to get a dent. I can’t imagine if Emma spilled her sippy driving out of the lot. That is really hilarious. Oh, nothing is ever clean with kids!!! And we have to love it! 🙂

  5. No husband bashing! I paid the price for that one having to deal with an unhappy toddler with apple juice-soaked pants at the grocery store.

  6. Stefan…..hahaha…..you told on yourself. I would have never guess that was YOU!

    yeah, right….

    LOL

  7. I WISH I would’ve got these before I ordered 3 Sigg leak-proof cups. Yes, the Sigg ones are great and do not leak…however, the child has to close it properly for it to not leak and guess what? It’s not as easy as pushing a button like on these Foogos. Unfortunately, I can’t even return them b/c they only allow exchanges. Now, I’m stuck with 3 of these $18 bottles and hope that my kids learn how to use them 🙂

  8. We also love to use them for smoothies. Just make sure to blend it very smooth so nothing gets stuck in the straw.

  9. Great idea on the smoothies! I have started making those for Emma for an afternoon snack. Great idea to prevent spillage!
