Angels Playground at TeWinkle Park

Angels Playground at TeWinkle Park is one of our favorite parks to visit in Costa Mesa.  The 1.7 million dollar playground was completed last summer and is the first universally accessible playground in the city.

The equipment is fantastic, perfect for all ages.  There are unique features my daughter loves, including a big boat that can rock and oversized chair swings.

Surrounding the park are a multitude of picnic tables under a big covered awning and pretty walking paths adjacent to a duck pond and little streams.   There is also a restroom adjacent to the playground (important!)   It’s a great park to meet some friends and bring a picnic lunch.

It can get pretty crowded on the weekends, so weekday visits are preferable for us!

  1. I have been hearing about this fabulous park! Thanks for all of the great pics… Let’s meet up there Mrs. Tiny Oranges, with our tiny oranges! xo!

  2. We’ve been to this park, my boys loved it. We spent ages wandering around all the streams. There were lots of paths as well so the boys took their scooters.

Plus we ended up at the skateboard park, so there’s lots to do for all ages.

  3. This is one of my all-time favorites, too. Had a great comment on my site about a grandmother who used to play there and now brings her grandson! Very sweet.

  4. Since hearing about this park, we have been there several times! A great place for mommies to meet up with their little energized kiddies. Guarantees a great nap:)
