The tradition of Santa photos with small kids cracks me up. Have you ever thought how funny the whole thing is? Here we take a baby or small child and put them on a strange man’s lap wearing a weird red jumpsuit and huge white beard, and expect them to look pleased while we say “SMILE!!!” It is so funny to me.

When I married my husband I quickly learned that he doesn’t really care for surprises when it comes to gifts, but I myself yearn for a bit of the unexpected under the Christmas tree, so last year when I heard about Golden Tote, the ultimate surprise grab bag of clothing and accessories for women I had to try it!

The holidays are just that much brighter at Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure this month with special festivities that will make your spirits bright.
Last weekend, I invited to attend a special family media day and I was able to take my girls and my mom to experience the splendor of the season at the Happiest Place on Earth.
Seeing the Holidays at Disneyland through the eyes of my girls as well as my mom who hadn’t been to Disneyland in over 16 years, was nothing short of magical.

I have heard about The Elf on the Shelf for the past few years, but it wasn’t until this past Saturday that our own Elf on the Shelf joined our family, and another cute holiday tradition for our kids was born. So, please let me introduce you to Joy. Isn’t she cute?
How many of you used the phrase, “You better be careful how you are acting- Santa is watching!” before the calendar even turned to December? Um, that would be me.
Which is why I find Joy to be such a brilliant idea because her job is to act as Santa’s scout during the month of December and report back to him each night on how my girls are behaving these days.
